The East Bungalows are bright spaces with approximately 42 m2 (452 ft2) of living space. They are situated within a short walk of our greatest treasure, the Rio Perdido. Raised up above the ground like little treehouses, the East Bungalows enjoy ample privacy — they are surrounded by forest and their elevated terraces are ideal for wildlife spotting. From your terrace hammocks, you can watch howler and whitefaced monkeys pass overhead on most days. Along with other wildlife such as agouti, armadillos, coatimundis and birds. From this privileged vantage point, you can expect to spend many hours enjoying the sights and sounds of the jungle. Catch the morning rays through the trees while savouring a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Then in the late afternoon, listen to the rush of the river below. Inside, a bright and neutral colour palette allows the natural colours of the forest to take center stage. A nod to its minimalist influences, the space is thoughtfully designed with custom-built furniture and clever storage solutions.
