En el año 1994 llega a Costa Rica la familia Zanirato proveniente de Italia, y con deseos de invertir en el país,
descubren la maravillosa zona de Caño Negro, conocida por su rica biodiversidad. Esta área con su vastos
humedales y abundante vida silvestre capturó sus corazones.
Impulsados por su deseo de proteger y compartir la belleza de Caño Negro, Giuseppe Zanirato, el papá, se
aventuró a construir la primera etapa de 10 habitaciones de un hermoso Lodge que sigue desarrollándose hasta
la actualidad.
Desde el año 2000, Marina Zanirato, una joven mujer italiana con grandes aspiraciones, con un profundo amor por
la naturaleza y los viajes, lo lidera desde su apertura. Construido con un enfoque en la sostenibilidad, utilizando
materiales ecoamigables y promoviendo la conservación del entorno natural, ofrecen actividades que atraen a
visitantes de todos los rincones del mundo, como la observación de aves y la fotografía.
A lo largo de los años Marina logró otro maravilloso proyecto de vida, formar su hermosa familia que se unió a ella,
compartiendo su pasión por el ecoturismo y la conservación. Juntos implementaron prácticas sostenibles y
trabajan con las comunidades locales, apoyando su desarrollo económico y social.
