As you walk along the raised walkway and arrive at canopy level to reach treehouse Mono Congo, you will immediately understand how it earned its name. Mono Congo is the local name for the howler monkeys which always mark your experience at Rancho Pacifico. You will hear their calls reverberate from the rainforest that surrounds you (they can be heard from up to three miles away), and at treehouse Mono Congo, you have the best chance of seeing a troop of them in the trees by your windows.
